| Driving from England |
From Calais allow a minimum of 12 hours, but that only allows about an hour of stops. With children, it would be advisable to take 2 days to drive, maybe stopping at a comfortable Chambre d'Hote overnight |

It is possible to take Eurostar from Waterloo or Ashford, and transfer to the TGV, which will get you to Perpignan where you can catch a local train or bus and walk to the property |
