Once you've booked with us we'll send you detailed instructions and a map of the local area, for finding the property...right down to suggestions for where to park your car! For the moment though it may help you to better understand how you can reach the general area.

How to get to Prades:

• Airports (note that car hire can often be cheaper in Spain than France)
  • Perpignan - 45 mins - Ryanair, AirFrance
  • Carcassonne - 90 mins - Ryanair
  • Gerona - 90 mins - Ryanair
  • Barcelona - 140 mins - most major airlines
  • Toulouse - 140 mins - most major airlines
  • Montpellier or Nimes - 140 mins

• Driving
  From Calais allow a minimum of 12 hours, but that only allows about an hour of stops. If you have children, it may be more advisable to take 2 days over the journey, possibly stopping at a comfortable Chambre d'Hote overnight.
• Public Transport
  It is possible to take Eurostar from Waterloo or Ashford, and transfer to the TGV, which will get you to Perpignan where you can catch a local train or bus and walk to Le Lezard in 15 minutes with suitcases.

  • Carcassonne - 150 mins - Ryanair
  • Gerona - 150 mins - Ryanair
  • Barcelona - 190 mins - most major airlines
  • Toulouse - 170 mins - most major airlines
  • Montpellier or Nimes - 190 mins
• Driving
  From Calais allow a minimum of 13 hours, but that only allows about an hour of stops.
• Public Transport
  • not recommended
