Conflent Valley

Les Angles is a pretty village ski resort where approx 800 inhabitants live all year round. Consequently there is good commerce in the village with two supermarkets (one open all year), a choice of bakeries, and outdoor equipment shops, butcher’s, pharmacy, medical centre, wide choice of restaurants, and a bowling alley.

The area is ideal for ski-ing and walking and a fantastic place for families with children with plenty to see and do. A free bus service is provided in peak seasons – summer and winter to get you around the resort, if you don't facny walking.

Although we recommend a car to get here, once you are at the house it is possible to get around easily on foot, by bike or using the free navette (buses) in season. The terrain around Les Angles is on a plateau and so it is relatively flat getting from the house to Lake Matemale, which you can do using vehicle-free tracks.
